Security of Data
During the development of assessment tasks, the administration
of tests and the marking and analysis of data, the security of student,
class and school information is a priority. Given the confidentiality
issues associated with holding individual student information, principals
and teachers should ensure to the security of student, class and
school WALNA information.
Information about each child is confidential; it is available only
to the child's parent/s or caregiver/s, the teacher and the school.
It would be inappropriate, for example, to cite individual results
in a public form, either orally or in print.
