Gifted and Talented programs provide opportunities for Western Australia's top students to work with their gifted and talented peers in either a selective school setting, or in the specific areas of academics, arts and languages. Each year, about 800 students gain a place in one of these elite programs. Entry is very competitive and highly regarded.
Year 6 students can now apply for entry into Year 8 in 2010.
Applications close Friday, 1 August 2008.
In previous years, selection for Year 8 entry into these programs occurred in Year 7. Changes have been implemented and the selection process now occurs in Year 6, with testing taking place in August for all Year 6 applicants.
Applications for entry into Year 8 in 2010 are now available online. If you would like to be sent an application form and information regarding entry into Year 8 please enter your details on the register of interest. You may also print out a copy of the application booklet using the link provided.
