Gifted and Talented programs provide opportunities for Western Australia’s top students to work with their gifted and talented peers in either a selective school setting, or in the specific areas of academics, arts and languages. Each year approximately 800 students gain a place in one of these elite programs. Entry is very competitive and highly regarded.
Applications for entry into Year 8 in 2010 have closed and the selection process is now underway. If you would like to receive an application form for the second round of applications that will open in January 2009, please complete the online register of interest.
In previous years, selection for Year 8 entry into Gifted and Talented programs occurred in Year 7. This year changes have been introduced and the selection process now occurs in Year 6, however students in Year 7 will have a final opportunity to entry the program in March/April 2009.
