School support of students with special learning needs

The Student Services Team promotes inclusive practices in education. This diversity includes cultural, cognitive, emotional, social and behavioural issues that impact on students' learning and sense of well-being. Student Services personnel can enhance a school's capacity to meet the needs of a diverse school population through the delivery of professional development, collaborative case conferencing, and consultation. The Student Services Team consults and collaborates with the district's Aboriginal Education and Curriculum Improvement Teams, the Centre for Inclusive Schooling as well as with other government and non-government agencies to achieve the best outcomes for all students
