Professional Learning

The Department offers a range of quality professional learning opportunities to permanent teaching and non-teaching staff through the Professional Learning Program. The capacity to enhance organisational performance is strengthened through a workforce that values and pursues professional learning.

Applications are invited from interested staff to participate in academic scholarships, the Public Sector Management Program and self-directed programs.

Staff are invited to investigate each program offered, their eligibility to apply and the relevance of programs to their professional needs and career aspirations. If staff wish to pursue one of these opportunities, they are strongly encouraged to discuss this with their line manager, seek approval and submit an application.

For further information, and to download the program guidelines and application forms, interested staff are encouraged to visit the Professional Learning Program website: http://www.det.wa.edu.au/professionallearning
