The Esperance Education Resource Centre (EERC) was established in 1977 to provide a support service for schools, teachers, students, parents and student teachers in the district. The EERC houses a collection of resources including reading materials (fiction and non-fiction) videos, charts, jigsaws, games, sporting equipment, models, incubators and audio-visual equipment.
Services such as laminating, photocopying, bookbinding, video dubbing and the hire of audio visual equipment (data projector, O/H projectors, PA systems, video cameras and digital cameras) are also available to hire by the public.
The centre has been operating in the Esperance District for the last 30 years and endeavours to continue offering its valuable resources and services to improve student outcomes.
Schools and educational institutions become financial members and thus allow all staff members to access the centre. Registered community groups and Home Tuition members pay a registration fee and are able to benefit from the centre's facilities.
Orders and reservations are most welcome and we endeavour to distribute these via District Office staff when they are visiting schools
The centre is located within the District Education Office building at 86 Windich St, Esperance.
