Depending on the Phase of Development, interests and abilities of your students there are various ways of approaching a theme related to journeys.

The different approaches are organised according to what is considered to be appropriate to students' interests and abilities in each Phase of Development.

For example, with the very young you may discuss the idea of a journey in the literal sense of travelling from one place to another, or perhaps a fantasy journey. However, many other approaches can be explored with students at a range of levels, especially when working with students beyond Early Childhood.
