Exploring Narrative Poetry and Verse Novels

From Literary Ballad to Verse Novel: Narrative Poetry in the Contemporary Scene in The Literature Base, Vol 10, Issue 4, October 1999, p 4-14 looks at the the characteristics of the traditional ballad and compares this form of poetry to several modern works.
