Log on to SCIS

  1. Start your Web browser and enter the SCIS website address.
    http://www1.curriculum.edu.au/scis/index.htm
Please add this address to the Favorites.

  2. Read any urgent messages, then click on Log on to SCISWeb (at top right on screen). The first time you click on this the SCISWeb licence agreement will appear. Read through the details, then click on I accept to proceed.

  3. Enter your user name, i.e. 6 digit user number. Tab to or click in the password box.

  4. Enter your password (displayed as asterisks). This is case sensitive, you will need to use the same form each time you log on. Press enter or click on OK.

  5. A customer profile screen will then appear asking you to fill in your email address. You can either fill in the address in the box provided (preferably your library email) or select the option of not having an address, then click on Save changes. Click on the link to the SCIS Customer Centre page at the top of the screen. If logging onto SCISWeb for the first time check that the profile is correct for your school. Please do not change any setting unless you have first checked with your library system vendor or with CMIS Cataloguing.

  6. On the Customer Centre page you will find buttons for SCIS products. Click on the SCISWeb button.

  7. On the SCISWeb menu screen you will find buttons to Create orders and to search on the SCIS OPAC.
